We had a great trip to Haiti this time. The team was great!! We had 12 people, 5
medical providers, 1 EMT and 6 non-medical staff who did a great work this week seeing over 800 patients. We prayed with each person who came into the clinic and 14 people made public professions of faith-Praise God.
We spend 3 days in a place called St. Michelle and had some rough nights on the ground in tents but the team never complained, never got cranky and never seemed tired. God is so good.

Our team has been busy studying Colossians and now we are on chapter 3 in the book. Looking over the first 3 verses we see the assurance of the Lord for his people from the NLT, “Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of this earth. For you died to this life and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.”
I would like to encourage you in this, your real life is not here on this earth, it is with Christ in the heaven. We are strangers and aliens on this earth. That is why sometimes things are so hard and we feel that we don’t belong. Well, we don’t we are just passing through. So take heart and be encouraged when the world fights against you, one day you will share in the glory of Christ and be in HIS presence.
So as we study and prepare to go to Haiti, I encourage you to also be putting on the armor for your mission whatever that may be.
Pray for us as we prepare, Bob, Becky, Joyce, Mike, Shelley, Lisa, Kenny, Natalie, Cathy, Mark, Demaris, Cindy. Pray for those we will touch, pray with and talk to, that God is preparing their hearts to hear the good news of the gospel that we will impart, pray for spiritual battles that may come between now and then and for God to lead and us to follow. Always!

Haiti, here we come….again

Well as of this moment we have 11 people going to Haiti in February. There are several new people, which is exciting. We will start having meetings and Bible study and will be in the book of Colossians this time. This book is a book that the Apostle Paul wrote while in prison thus is one of the books that are referred to as a Prison Epistle. The letter written to the people of Colossi to warn them about the heresy they faced, as do we and to make sure their belief is sure that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God and He is God. Colossians 1:15-17
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created both in the heaven on on the earth, visible and invisible whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”….vs 22 He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach….Read the book with us, study with us and pray for us as we prepare. God will be honored, you will be blessed and we will be pleased.

October trip to Haiti———What a blessing!

We went to Limbe, Haiti from October 4-11 and we had a great week. We saw over 800 people and 47 people got saved. PRAISE GOD!!!
We had a great time, we sang, we had devotions, we led worship at English Bible Fellowship, we prayed with people, we assessed them physically and spiritually, we gave out glasses, we gave out medications, we gave out the gospel and we laughed, we cried and we grew closer to God. February 2012……….can you believe it is 2012?

Well we now have our dates for February and this is the month to go if you want to be cool..or should I say cooler. February 28-March 6 will be out trip in the spring this year. We will have space for 10 people as usual and will be working doing medical mission as always.
Please sign up, do your paper work and send it to me with your deposit for the team in February. The deposit is $150.00 and the balance will be $700.00 by the month before the trip which will be January 28.

Paper work needed

In the next 2 weeks I need the paper work in from those who are interested in going to Haiti in October. The dates for the trip are October 4-11 and at this time we have 3 nurses on the team and space for 7 more people for a total of 10 going into Cap Haitian. Please pray and get your paper work in if you feel called to go.
We will begin to study the Word together, pray together and work on the spiritual preparation to go and be God’s hands and feet and mouth in Haiti.

Wow What a ride!!

We had a great 2 weeks in Haiti. The first team consisted of 5 nurses and an MD who saw over 700 people, prayed with 700 people and 10 people came to know our Lord this week. We had such a great week with devotions, music led by our worship leaders and enjoying the church of Haiti on Sunday with us joining them for worship in Limbe.
God is so good to let us share in the work He is doing.
He is the one to receive all the glory and He is the one who made a great team that could work together, pray together and had one heart for the people of Haiti.
Week 2 consisted of 4 nurses. We traveled to Savanne Carre to sleep in tents. We also got to share with about 400 people, pray with 400 people and 10 people came to know the Lord. We had a chance to get to know Pastor Joel in Savanne Carre and to share with the church there on Sunday. Look for the next post on comments from team members…

Well we leave bright and early in the am for Haiti. What an exciting time. 2 teams back to back with a total of 22 people getting to experience what God has for us to do and see in Haiti!
